You can contact your child's current secondary school and explore options together. At the same time, you are free to register your child at any other secondary school of your preference. The school of registration is not obliged to place your child. The number of places available at the school is leading in this respect. Each school year there are two application weeks for a transfer from your child's current secondary school to the preferred secondary school (VOVO-overstap). Your child's school can register your child for this. You can register three preferred schools so that your child can make the transition with effect from the new school year.
