An Education Advisor is active at all vo- and vwo schools in Sterk VO. The advisers work closely with youth health care, compulsory education and the neighbourhood team/social neighbourhood team in the core partner approach.
These are the core tasks of the education adviser:
- Contribute to strengthening the foundation in schools through cyclical and planned work on the School Support Plan that a school has drawn up together with core partners
- Contribute to strengthening the school team's action competence and streamlining the support pathway within a school
- Advising schools on how to support pupils with additional support needs
- Contributing to continuous school careers of pupils with continuity of support and effectiveness of work processes
- Using trends and developments to improve partnership and school practices
