At school, problems can arise between:
- parents of pupils and the school;
- students and the school;
- staff members of the school among themselves.
If they cannot work it out together, they can file a complaint with the National Education Complaints Commission (LKC). The Commission then reviews the case and issues an opinion on the situation. Complaints can concern, for example, guidance at school, bullying, suspension of a pupil and promotion.
It is only possible to submit a complaint to the National Education Complaints Commission if the school is affiliated to this Commission. Whether the school is affiliated is indicated (in the school guide) on the school's website or on the school board's website.
