What is OCW? And what do they do?

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) is responsible for all education: primary, secondary and higher education including vocational and adult education, and including agricultural education or 'green education'. The ministry creates a legal framework for education, implements education laws and provides financial resources for it. The ministry formulates policy advice, prepares new policy, develops policy projects, develops regulations and supports the education field with subsidies.
